Am primit zilele trecute urmatoarea invitatie la concurs de automodele electrice, sper sa va placa ideea si sa ne strangem poate facem o tura pana acolo eu zic ca merita si este aproape.
INDOOR ELECTRIC RACE
VELIKO TARNOVO 2004
It's a great pleasure for HobbyDick Ltd. to invite you to the first indoor race of Veliko Tarnovo which will be held at February 21th / 22th in Veliko Tarnovo - Bulgaria.
ENTRIES
Only written entries on the official entry-form (see last page) with min two frequencies will be accepted.
Entries will be accepted from January 1ST and deadline will be February 21st
Entry-fees:
Electric touring 1/18 class: € 5
Electric touring 1/10 class: € 5
Electric team class: € 10 / team
-Junior drivers (age below 16) will get a reward in food coupons at time of registration.
TIMETABLE
This provisional timetable is provided to help you plan your weekend at the VTIR 2004. The final timetable will be posted at the race, please check there for possible changes.
Please be aware that:
- There will be two rounds of controlled practice on Saturday morning for all drivers!
- Team class will go straight into qualifying on Saturday afternoon

RULES – ELECTRIC TOURING 1/18 CLASS
This is only a quick overview of the rules, race will be run according EFRA handbook 2004 if not specified different here. All cars must be within the specifications at any time of the race (before and after the run!).
Dimensions:

- Minimum ride height: 3.0mm

- Tyre additives are allowed.
Batteries:
Maximum of 6 cells in any size and either NiCd- or NiMH-technology may be used. Cells have to be in the manufacturers original heatshrink and be commercially available in the spirit of the sport, any kind of prototype or pre-production cells are illegal.
Motors:
Only brushed motors are allowed.

This is only a quick overview of the rules, race will be run according EFRA handbook 2004 if not specified different here. All cars must be within the specifications at any time of the race (before and after the run!).
Dimensions:
- Maximum width (w/o body): 190mm
- Maximum width (with body): 200mm
- Maximum wheelbase: 273mm
- Minimum height: 115mm
- Minimum weight: 1500g
- Minimum ride height: 5.0mm
Bodies & Wing:
- Only FIA Class-2 are allowed
- Maximum wing chord: 40mm
- Maximum wing width: 190mm
- Wing endplates maximum: 40 x 25mm
Tyres & Additive:
- Tyres: slick tyres 24 or 26mm
- Tyre additives are allowed.
Batteries:
Maximum of 6 cells in Sub-C size and either NiCd- or NiMH-technology may be used. Cells have to be in the manufacturers original heatshrink and be commercially available in the spirit of the sport, any kind of prototype or pre-production cells are illegal.
Motors:
Only brushed motors according EFRA rules with a minimum of 12-turns on every pole and with every strand must be used
(18.0µH minimum inductance on each pole).
Other technical specifications:
All cars must have independent suspension operating on all four wheels. No automatic steering or power/traction control is allowed, the function of steering and throttle may only be influenced by the transmitter. In no way may they be influenced by the movement or acceleration of the car. Any sensor or electronic device that measures any movements of the car is not allowed. The only legal driver aid is the use of a current-limiter in the speed-control. The use of multiple-speed transmissions and slipper clutches is not allowed.

- Minimum weight: 1500g

- all bodies are allowed
- Wing endplates maximum: 40 x 25mm
Tyres & Additive:
- Tyres: all sizes slick or foam tyres
- Tyre additives are allowed.
Batteries:
Maximum of 10 cells in Sub-C size and either NiCd- or NiMH-technology may be used. Cells have to be in the manufacturers original heatshrink and be commercially available in the spirit of the sport, any kind of prototype or pre-production cells are illegal.
Motors:
All type of motors ( brushless, modified, stock ) can be used

Combustibil varsati voi ca acolo dupa cite vad e concurs de electrice nu de 1/8 sau alte termice.
Oricum bataia va fi mare acolo chiar daca nu este un campionat european sau altceva.Cred ca vor veni si o gramada de super piloti care o sa fi cam greu de invins dar nu strica sa incercam.

Daca activitatea noastra privata ne va permite, s-ar putea sa participam si noi la acest concurs.
Oricum va trimit alaturat doua materiale care sa va ajute la setarea modelelor de 1/10.

Urari de bine si succese pe noul an Dl Faur, desi cu intarziere o spun fara nici un fel de rautate, mai ales dupa ce am vazut clasamentul pe 2003.

Maine mergem acolo, o sa pun si poze.
Pista nu este permanenta, trebuie sa intindem mocheta de fiecare data, dar merita efortul.

Imi pare rau ca am lipsit azi la sedinta dar miine am un examen pentru diploma si nu puteam sa plec de acasa.
Ce sa hotarit?Va rog bagati vesti aci ca ma intereseaza si pe mine. :( :D Please!!!

Am urmatoarele informatii:
- posibilitati cazare in apropiere de sala unde are loc concursul, intre 10 - 50 EURO/noapte!
- posibilitate antrenament in sala respectiva, vineri seara dupa ora 18.00!
- posibilitate achizitionare componente/piese (cauciucuri, jenti, accu., etc) la preturi promotionale pentru concurenti!(ideal daca putem trimite o lista cu ce ne intereseaza pe e-mail)
- temperatura din sala unde se desfasoara concursul este intre 6 - 10 grade!!!!(atentie la imbracaminte)
- asigura paza masinilor (1:1)!
- distanta Bucuresti - Tarnovo aprox. 170 Km!
- este dispus sa ne astepte la Ruse pentru a nu avea probleme pe drum!(super baiat)
Si cel mai important lucru, pentru toti cei care merg vom avea invitatie din partea clubului organizator!(cred ca ne ajuta in vama)
