Vuia 1:1 ,acelasi avion care a fost in Franta,Germania,Austria cu ocazia Centenarului Vuia ( din cate am citit in brosura aparuta cu acea ocazie, s-a dorit si un zbor demonstrativ la Montesson ,dar nu a fost aprobat de responsabilii francezi, de asemenea din cate am aflat, ulterior s-a executat un zbor reusit ( aprox 1m. inaltime si aprox 30m. lungime )la Timisoara.

Miting aviatic la Timisoara

Centenarul "Traian Vuia", care aminteste de primul zbor efectuat de inginerul banatean, la Montesson, in Franta, a fost marcat sâmbata, pe Aeroportul Utilitar Timisoara, printr-un miting aviatic de exceptie. Consiliul Judetean Timis (CJT), organizatorul mitingului, a dorit sa reconstituie acest zbor cu ajutorul prototipului aparatului lui Traian Vuia, confectionat dupa planurile acestuia, de catre Fundatia Academica si Culturala din Timisoara si de Universitatea Politehnica din Timisoara. Pentru ca precedentul miting aviatic a fost organizat in Timisoara in anul 1999, manifestarea de sâmbata a fost urmarita de sute de concitadini.
