F5D went very well. 16 trouble free rounds well run with good equipment supplied and run by Michal Dolejs. Marius Conu did a superb job of running the event and the lovely young ladies manning the course did a superb job also. The locals were all very friendly and interested in what we were doing. I appeared on their TV and in several news papers which the locals took great pleasure in showing me and it all made good fun. There is only one criticism I could have and that is why on earth hold such an event in a place like Romania? It is not a place you can take your family and when you are there it is not a comfortable place to be. If the next EWC is in a place like Romania I for one will think long and hard about going. That is if I am allowed to go by the better half who is still giving me grief about going to this one on my own! Please please whoever decides where the next EWC is, put it somewhere we can take the wife and kids to and have a proper enjoyable time rather than a place no-one visits for a reason.
